Key Account Manager
DACH and Benelux Region
In order to reinforce our European Sales Team with a special focus in the DACH and Benelux Region, we are looking to recruit a Senior Key Account Manager, reporting to the Vice-President of Sales – Europe. This professional, working home-based with close contact with the team, will have the mission to strength our customers portfolio and relationship with existing clients, enhancing company sales.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
- Builds long-term relationships with customers and understands market trends and requirements;
- Hunts for new customers in his/her region and prepares customer development plans for existing customers;
- Conducts strategic review meetings with customers;
- Negotiates with customers to achieve high profitability during contracting, price revisions and extra cost billing;
- Makes initial assessment of RfQs and briefs with internal functions on expected quotation outcomes;
- Reviews quotation assumptions and makes final decisions on commercial conditions including additional services;
- Signs-off internal service agreements during implementation and contributes input, if requested;
- Discusses value engineering potentials internally and promotes them to customers;
- Signs-off price revision after preparation through Account Manager;
- If global coordinator, conducts internal global review meeting for customer to harmonize Sales approach across regions.
We are looking for:
- Relevant experience in B2B sales to private label and/or mid-sized customers;
- Solid sales track record in B2B in cosmetics and/or packaging industry;
- Fluent in English and German, Dutch speaker as a plus;
- Results Oriented;
- Proactive in finding market opportunities;
- Excellent Communication and Networking skills.
